Sarah J. Flettrich
Sarah J. Flettrich is an associate at Hoffman Nguyen & Kuehl. She has experience in divorce actions, spousal and child support, child custody and visitation, property partitions, paternity, domestic violence, wills and estate planning, insurance defense, and workers’ compensation.
Sarah is a Louisiana native and attended Ursuline Academy for high school. She earned her B.A. in Sociology and History, with a concentration in Criminology, from Louisiana State University in 2017, and her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2021.
During law school, Sarah was a research assistant for Professor Monica Hoff Wallace, and was a judicial extern for Honorable June B. Darensburg, Div. C, 24th Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana. Sarah thoroughly enjoyed her time as a Rule XX student practitioner in the Children’s Rights and Family Law Clinic under the supervision of Professors Ramona Fernandez and Cheryl Buchert, both of whom remain her beloved mentors. As a Rule XX student practitioner, Sarah and her co-counsel represented a minor child in the Louisiana Supreme Court, and their performance on this case earned them an award for Outstanding Clinic Team from the Clinical Legal Education Association. Sarah also earned the Asterisk Award for the highest grade in her clinic class, as well as the Class of 2021 Experiential Learning Award.
Sarah is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts. She is presently a member of the American Bar Association and the Jefferson Bar Association.
